Wearable technology is another window into our digital lives. More and more technology is being built at the services layer. This means that every day, a smaller percent of the technology is being built in front of our eyes.
This is a bit of a contradiction because only the technology in front of our eyes actually matters, but more of it is being written behind the scenes.
Whether you are interacting with a smart IOT device, your phone, a laptop, or a wearable, you should have the same experience, the same expectations, and the same capabilities. The only thing that should be different is the speed and power with which you can interact.
A voice-only system is never going to be as powerful as something with 2d spacial selection (such as a mouse pointer or a touch screen, or ideally both).
